OnlinePulse is a platform for monitoring the uptime of web pages. It notifies website owners and webmasters about potential problems or downtimes and helps them keep their sites running smoothly 24/7.

Project snapshot

  • Industry: IT / SaaS
  • Location: United Kingdom
  • Service: One-feature MVP

Business goals

The client entered a competitive market of existing website monitoring tools and wanted to validate if there was business potential for yet another solution. The idea was to utilize their niche business network to test demand for a monitoring tool tailored to their customer needs and the European market.

The goal was to start with a minimum viable product and test with potential clients in a closed beta version.

Challenges

  • Tight time-to-market expectations from the client’s network.
  • Building a monitoring feature reliable enough to work seamlessly with any website, including many edge cases.

Approach

We developed an initial one-feature MVP focused on monitoring plus email notifications. The MVP was delivered within two business days to meet the tight timeline.

The initial version intentionally omitted user registration and advanced visualizations to keep the product lean for closed beta testing. Additional features were added later based on user feedback.

Technologies used

  • JavaScript/TypeScript
  • NestJS for backend services
  • React for the SPA front end
  • Go for reliable monitoring services
  • AWS for deployment and operations
